How a billing machine Works?

The Bill printing machines work on a process called Thermal printing. It is a digital printing process which produces a printed image by selectively heating coated thermochromic paper, or thermal paper as it is commonly known, when the paper passes over the thermal print head. The coating turns black in the areas where it is heated, producing an image. Two-color direct thermal printers can print both black and an additional color (often red) by applying heat at two different temperatures. The technology is quite old but ideal for bill printing machines.

Bill printers print by direct contact between the thermal head (which generates heat) and thermal paper (which is thermally coated to be sensitive to heat). The paper rolls available are sensitive to the heat and thus when the heat is produced it can easily initiate the process of printing. It can print more than just a single color by setting the printer to different temperatures. It is cost efficient and the most popular way of bill printing and hence it is used almost everywhere.

The Bill printing machine does not require any other color other than black and hence it is ideal. It works in the same way as a thermal printer and prints the images on the paper roll. It is portable, has great speed and is therefore extremely efficient. It is low maintenance which means that there are lesser chances of this printer failing or not operating smoothly.

These retail billing machines are either wired or wireless, you can opt for one based on your requirement. The wireless ones are portable and easy to use.
