Evolution of Billing System

Necessity is the mother of invention. So Whenever we see a system that is adapted by the human kind,  behind that there will a histoty for sure. 

We can see the bills right. So definitely series of things would have happened before the billing system came into existence. 

Long before the currency thing was not invented barter system was very popular. So exactly what the barter system is. It is an old method of exchange. People used to exchange what they have to get what else they need. For eg, suppose I am a farmer who have rice field. Suppose I need clay pot for cooking the rice & my neighbour is there who prepares pots. So I will give rice to him & can take a pot in return.

But human do faced a lot of problems in barter system which brought the money system in to picture. With money obviously billing started.

Modern day billing has been built over many years involving huge cost. In initial days billing was all on papers. The calculation was done by the shopkeeper only & was written on a piece of paper. Then slowly certain billing machines & softwares is developed. Now the talk of the town is will the pandemic put a full stop on money &  bills. To frankly say No! The process can be digitalized but the system cannot be omitted. Instead of currency notes we are paying digitally by various payment gateways. Similarly instead of paper billing we may move to bills on SMS/Email. Various softwares have already came with these features but those are very costly solutions.
